MY EXPERIENCE -INITIAL STAGE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

I got my first camera as a gift from my parents and it was point and shoot. I used it in auto mode for many years but after that when I started thinking that how should I get the desired effect in my picture, I started exploring it. After that I started using it's custom features, but could not control it completely and used to feel restricted. Further studying details of camera, I realised still some controls are missing.
When I wanted to use the shutter speed for capturing the river flowing softly,  I could not set that due to it's limitations of setting. When I set the Shutter  speed I could not set the Aperture accordingly. We also can't get desired Depth of Field.
I don't say that point and shoot is not useful but I am saying that when we want to get the desired result in form of effects at that time point and shoot fails but when we are going for some fun with family like Disney land and alike places at that time these point and shoot are useful because we get the time to enjoy with family rather than setting the camera to get the perfect picture.
One such experience of point and shoot was to shoot a scene that was just for a minute, one day early in the morning it was a dawn time and the sky was partially covered with cloud and the sun was also rising slowly to spread out  it's full color. The sun rays were strong enough to show their presence and cloud wanted to stop them from falling on earth and the sun rays were determined to pierce through the cloud and it was such a look as if God wants to bless his children on earth; I could not resist myself from capturing his way of blessing the people on earth. I ran quickly grabbed my camera and snapped it, at this point I enjoyed my point and shoot camera.

Later in my post I will share my Point and Shoot camera other pictures also and we will also find out  what are the pros and cons of DSLR's and Point and Shoot cameras.
After this I started looking for taking more and more pictures with my first gifted camera and I was elated being able to take some good snaps that even I never thought of; but this good feeling factor came to me only after seeing my picture that I captured in dawn (figure-4). Then I started thinking all the more about how to get good pictures of something. When you regularly start thinking about particular thing, then it becomes your nature to look like electron spinning around the subject. one day suddenly my eyes strike through a couple of petals of small rose, they were in shape of heart; thought a little bit and looked for something to keep them and then I saw a wooden coaster and decided to keep them together on wooden coaster. When everything was well composed and went close to take a picture shadow covered a part of that  at that time I didn't realise but when I saw that shot in my computer I was really elated because I created all over a different story and that shot I would like to share with you all.

Similarly, I was lucky enough to capture a lovely moment of "Pair of Parrots" (figure-5) this was all possibly because I had my Point and Shoot camera ready to take picture. Every picture has it's own story and how beautifully you are able to put, that depends on you and you are the only incharge of yourself because no one is going to say that you have taken bad photo, instead you have to judge yourself "how successful are you?"

But later what I realised that something is missing and that something is details in each photo as what I get is the jpeg format directly from the camera and no raw format option was available to me because of which, I could not bring out that much in this (figure-5) photo. You can see that sky is totally blown out and any editing effects the whole picture. Here Point & Shoot lacks some features.
